BIRD BY BIRD: SOME INSTRUCTIONS ON WRITING AND LIFE
This endearing, hilarious, deeply wise book has taught me so much about both the craft and practice of writing. Anne Lamott is an accomplished author and teacher, and boils down the essence of what she knows into 237 pages. I can't recommend this highly enough for writers—and believe me, you're going to want your own copy to underline and mark with post-it's.

ISHMAEL
As soon as I picked up this book, I could tell I'd read it over and over again. Ishmael is philosophical fiction, exploring humanity, culture, and our relationship with the natural world in a unique narrative. Every page is dense with revelations—it's hard to put it down long enough to let everything digest!

ALL WE CAN SAVE
It's hard to even find words for this book, so I'll borrow theirs: All We Can Save offers "provocative and illuminating essays from women at the forefront of the climate movement who are harnessing truth, courage, and solutions to lead humanity forward." If you work in the environmental space and struggle to articulate how interconnected we are with nature, this book will do it for you.
